Desde niño, Zak Martin fue un prodigio musical, capaz de tocar prácticamente cualquier instrumento con maestría, a pesar de no haber recibido formación musical de ningún tipo.

Over the years he has collaborated musically and creatively with some of the world’s most highly acclaimed singers and musicians, particularly in his native Ireland. Artists he has collaborated creatively with have included Phil Lynott (Thin Lizzy), Sam Obernik (Tim Deluxe, Linus Love, Tomcraft), Sinéad O’Connor, Eurovision singer Una Gibney (quien grabó su canción “Telescope” para Polygram), la banda irlandesa femenina The Colleens y muchos otros.
